WHAT: Denying the sitting Montgomery County Sheriff the opportunity to speak at our middle school at an event that she sponsored. The DA and the Sheriff actually had a press conference with Wendy Royer several days prior to announce the event. Royer lauded both Eileen Behr and the program she was sponsoring.  The sheriff showed up to the event since they were the sponsors and was told she was not allowed in the building.

MY WHY QUESTION:  Why would they do this – is it just rank incompetence or pure politics?  See attached Letter from the District Attorney: Risa Vetri Ferman.  It might make things a little clearer for you!

I want to thank you for your past support for our committee and our candidates. We, like you, are residents of Springfield Township and we have very serious concerns about how our township is being governed by the Democrat dominated Board of Commissioners and School Board. The upcoming Spring and Fall elections provide us with a valuable opportunity for significant change.

To bring about this change, your Republican Committee has endorsed a team of candidates who are a first-rate group of individuals; they are distinguished by having intelligence and common sense, a depth of experience, and a work ethic that will enable them to bring to our township a government that is accountable to its residents for delivering a high level of public services which the taxpayers duly deserve. They are all committed to accomplishing this in an economically sensible way. Keeping government out of activities where government has no place and focusing on lowering and/or controlling taxes is the best way to ensure a prosperous future

To help to elect to office our dedicated and talented candidates, we need your help – help in getting the vote out by voting on Election Day and encouraging your family members, neighbors, and friends to vote REPUBLICAN.

In addition, our candidates need your financial help. This is an earnest financial appeal for contributions which will enable our candidates to showcase their unique combination of talents and goals. Taking into account the importance of the election and the financial challenges of the day, we have come up with a campaign which takes both factors into account.

We have confidence that you will agree it is worth at least $1 a month to have a better, more efficient and accountable government working for you.
